“And they’re off!” Second time round….

November 2012 saw us posting this on our blog- it seems remarkably pertinent again as we prepare to make this return journey to the UK.

Our dining room table is covered in lists. We’re rushing around saying “Goodbye for now” to friends and to our dear little house (please note the enormous satellite dish in the picture is on our neighbour’s house not ours!)

We are also attempting to prepare ourselves for life back in the UK- much the same as we did  in 2012 when we first came out here but in reverse. All a bit odd….
And what we also said then still holds true- we couldn’t have done any of this without your partnership and so we are truly grateful.
Our plan now is to be based back in our home in Chichester. We will spend the next few months trying to process these last few years and travelling around the south of England to visit link churches on behalf of CMS.

We’ll be leaving a large part of our hearts here and so our hope and prayer is that we will be able to return to Eldoret on a regular basis as friends of the diocese and be able to continue to support the work here.

We’ll still blog whenever we have anything newsworthy to report so the journey isn’t quite over yet.

Thanks for travelling with us.
